Knights of North Castle: The Quest for the King’s Armor

We’re so excited to host in-person Vacation Bible School (VBS) for the first time in three summers. Join our quest and spark joy by signing up your child or volunteering today.

Calling all knights, er…
we mean kids…for Vacation Bible School!

who have turned four by July 15 (and are potty trained) through those who have completed fifth grade to get ready for fun and adventure as we learn what it means to put on the armor of God. Don’t let this “drag-on.” Sign up now to get the early bird price of $30 per child.

Remember, it takes a village to build this castle! Volunteer today to help make VBS a fun-filled chance for our brave knights to learn and grow in their knowledge of God’s love. When you volunteer your kids are guaranteed a spot at the round table for VBS, even if the Quest for the King’s Armor fills up.

Service Squad: A Special Mission for North Castle’s Older Knights

All kids who have completed 4-5th grade and participate in Vacation Bible School will be part of the Service Squad. This special round table of older kids take on learning more about how to serve and help our community partners and serve the mission of the church.

Let Sparky ignite your creativity! Help us prepare the decorations that will transform our Sanctuary and classrooms for this year’s VBS. We will build a frozen castle fit for a king and assemble and make other decorations. Make a reservation at fumcaustin.org/vbs. A light lunch will be provided. If you are not able to attend this event and/or if decorating is not one of your gifts, contact Lara Greene for more opportunities to help or to find out about donations needed for this year.

Prepare to armor up for this year’s VBS at this lunch and training. Learn of our noble quest and your role to play in it. This training is for any youth or adult interested in volunteering the week of July 25-28. Save your seat at the knights’ table by making your reservation now at fumcaustin.org/vbs. Questions? Adult ministry leaders with children, youth, and vulnerable adults are required by Rio Texas Conference policy to complete a three-step background check and safety training certification process. For more information, visit fumcaustin.org/safety-training or contact Emily Buchanan.
