Back to School

Sunday before School Starts

During worship, all students, teachers, and administrators will receive a blessing and a gift as a tangible reminder of God’s and our congregation’s love and support. Students are encouraged to bring their backpacks. Parents should plan to take children to their new Sunday School classrooms and then join us in Wesley Hall for a parent coffee. Then that evening, join us at the pool party!

Saturday before Easter

Cancelled in 2020/2021 Due to COVID
FUMC hosts an annual Easter Egg Festival on the Capitol Grounds at Colorado and 12th Street. This event is open to the public, so you may bring your friends and non-perishable food donations for Caritas of Austin. Join us on the Capitol lawn for face painting, crafts, games, preschool egg hunts, and elementary school egg roll races!  A visit from the Easter Bunny is a special tradition.
