Our January mission emphasis is the Immigration Care Team (ICT), a ministry offering active support and provision to asylum seekers and other immigrants.
Formed in April 2020, ITC is currently providing ongoing financial resources for a young woman seeking asylum from a central African country. Last year, working with Justice for Our Neighbors, ESL classes, and our ICT, she is making progress integrating and is thriving. The team continues to meet with her, celebrating birthdays and holidays, and has plans to teach her to drive this year.
Contributions to the Immigration Care Team continue to help cover living expenses and any legal costs that arise for her while she goes through the asylum process. Prayers for the work of this team and the asylum seeker are appreciated!
