This Sunday, September 29, we launch our churchwide generosity emphasis called “Enough.” We all know that money holds great power in our lives. Money is a resource we use to meet our needs and accomplish our goals, and yet it often brings great challenges. This fall, we’re diving into God’s wisdom for how to approach money, so that we might learn to take joy and find freedom in what we already have. Isn’t that ultimately what we all want? I think it’s what God wants for us, too. Join us for this series as we take on both the practical and spiritual implications of the money in our lives.
Our generosity series is based on Enough by Reverend Adam Hamilton, a book that has become a classic resource for faith and finance. I hope you’ll take the opportunity to reflect and grow by participating in a Sunday School class as they discuss the book. Even if you don’t read along, there is much to be gained from the discussion! Either participate in your own class, or you’re invited to join our new Director of Operations, Dave Ballbach, as he leads discussion in Wesley Hall at 10:00 a.m. beginning on October 6.
God’s invites us again and again to reshape our lives and priorities, so we can enjoy the simplicity and freedom God offers. Don’t miss the opportunity this season to grow in your faith and make practical changes in your life.
See you Sunday!
