Faith is about more than Sundays. Faith formation happens beyond the church walls.
Join us as we encourage and equip you to help your family connect with God. Growing your faith at home doesn’t have to involve hours of reading the Bible or meditating. Spiritual growth for families and individuals can begin with baby steps. Our Faith at Home series is designed to provide space for you to explore ideas and walk away with practical ways to turn everyday moments into opportunities for you and your child or youth to grow closer to God.
September 9, Faith at Home – Prayer
EDU Murchison Chapel
When households practice faith at home, everyone grows closer to God. Research shows that children and youth whose families participate in Christian conversations, Bible reading, traditions, and prayer are more likely to claim their faith as adults. At a “Faith at Home” session, we learn and try out some spiritual practices that are “do-able,” adaptable, fun, and meaningful. These activities can be used by households of all shapes and sizes, including singles, friends, couples, children, teens, and parents. This class will focus on exploring the practice of prayer and touch on some practical ideas to enhance the worship experience for you and your child.
