Faith is about more than Sundays. Faith formation happens beyond the church walls.
Join us as we encourage and equip you to help your family connect with God. Growing your faith at home doesn’t have to involve hours of reading the Bible or meditating. Spiritual growth for families and individuals can begin with baby steps. Our Faith at Home series is designed to provide space for you to explore ideas and walk away with practical ways to turn everyday moments into opportunities for you and your child or youth to grow closer to God.
April 8, Faith at Home – Sacred Moments
Want to help your child feel closer to God, but life is just too busy and crazy to sit your family down for a devotional?
Join Lara Greene and other parents, grandparents, and care-takers of children and/or youth to discuss ways to cultivate sacred moments amidst our everyday events. Using ideas from Traci Smith’s book, Faithful Families, we will learn ways to explore faith using simple, engaging and creative practices that will nourish our connection to God and to each other.
September 9, Faith at Home- Faith Conversations
Right before bed and driving to or from school or extra-curricular activities – start looking for God in your everyday life.
November 4, Faith at Home – Caring for Others as a Family
Find meaningful ways to serve those around you and help cultivate empathy.
