Preteen Sexuality Workshop: Wonderfully Made

Evening of Friday, February 21-Saturday, February 22 | Family Life Center

The preteen years are tough for kids and their parents. So much is changing—minds, bodies, and emotions. Wonderfully Made, the highly regarded curriculum that guides this weekend workshop, offers preteens (ages 10-12) the chance to ask hard questions about growing up and to receive faith-based answers that encourage them to listen for God’s loving influence in their lives. Expertly facilitated sessions cover physical and sexual development during puberty while encouraging preteens to establish spiritual practices that can be a foundation for their lifelong connection with God. The weekend includes two sessions, a Friday evening and a full day on Saturday, with a parent meeting each day. All preteens must be able to attend each full session both days and at least one parent/guardian is required to attend each parent session.

Sessions are scheduled for:

Friday, February 21
6:00–9:00PM. (participants)
6:00-7:15PM (parents)

Saturday, February 22
9:00AM–4:00PM (participants)
3:00-4:00PM (parents)

The cost is $70, which includes two meals and the participant workbook. Friends are welcome, so invite classmates or neighbors, but spaces are limited. Registration will close on February 9 or when full. Contact Lara Greene, Director of Children’s Ministry, with questions.
