Sunday, January 12-February 23 | 10:00AM | SAN Wesley Hall
Raising kids is hard work, especially when it comes to sharing your faith with them in a way that encourages them to lean into it as a lifelong journey. Where does one even begin? With the basics, of course! This Sunday morning sermon companion series to our January worship series, “Why Do We Do That?” is led by clergy and staff and will equip parents by deepening their own understanding of faith practices, like generosity and service, and sacraments, like Communion and Baptism, so that they can share faith practices with their children at any age and stage.
Series includes the following topics and events:
January 12 – Communion with Rev. Melissa Spence
January 19 – Service with Rev. Cathy Stone (This is a churchwide day of service.)
January 26 – Special Presentation on Maternal Health Advocacy from Circle Up
February 2 – Baptism with Rev. Brad Fuerst and Lara Greene
February 9 – Offering Gifts and Presence with Rachel Wright
February 16 – Marathon Sunday
February 23 – Spiritual Practices
