According to legend, a woman was busy making pancakes on Shrove Tuesday when she heard the church bells ringing for worship. She ran to the church still holding her frying pan, flipping the pancake as she went! This spontaneous dash evolved into the tradition of pancake races. Children of all ages and their loved ones are invited to Wesley Hall for a fun morning of making, eating, and racing with pancakes. Interested in helping make this event a success?
