Feed My People Fourth Tuesday Breakfast
4th Tuesdays | 5:15-7:15AM | Family Life Center
Start your day with service to our unhoused neighbors! Once a month, we not only provide this program with a facility home, but we also sponsor the cost of the meal and provide the volunteers who make and serve it. You can prepare and cook this breakfast beginning at 5:15AM. Clean-up is finished by 7:15AM.
The Feed My People Program (FMP) is the founding program for Foundation for the Homeless (FFH), and is open to anyone experiencing homelessness and/or poverty. This long-standing program is a partnership of 15 religious congregations in the Austin community and First Church is proud to host the venue twice a week.
The fourth Tuesday of each month is our chance to go one step further in service by also sponsoring the meal and providing the volunteers for Feed My People. If you’ve done this before, you will find the return to an indoor meal familiar. If you haven’t, now is a good time to try something new.
