The April 11 Community Easter Egg Festival has been CANCELLED in compliance with Capitol Grounds restrictions on large events due to the Coronavirus.
HOP UP AND HELP OUT
We need at least 8,000 stuffed eggs for 400+ community children we expect at this year’s Easter Egg Festival on April 11 from 9:30-11:00 a.m. on the West Capitol Grounds!
Here’s how you can help!
- Donate individually wrapped nut-free candy and empty plastic eggs in the bunny barrels outside the Sanctuary foyer, Wesley Hall, main office, and preschool hallway. Collection dates are March 1-early April. We are in more need of candy and trinkets than empty Easter eggs. Please make sure the candy is nut-free and small enough to fit inside an Easter egg. (Starbursts, skittles, and laffy taffy are some good examples.)
- Send egg supplies directly to the church! Purchase items on our Amazon Wish List and they will be delivered straight to the church.
- Donate money during the offering or online and note “Egg Festival Supplies.”
Volunteer at the Egg Festival
Sign up online for a shift (or more). From greeters to egg organizers, we have a job for you.
Egg Festival Preparation
Stuff eggs at home or in your Sunday School class or small group meeting. Volunteers take home a prepped bin of about 500 empty eggs, candy, toy trinkets, AND tape to hold the eggs together. If you would like to help with this, please contact Chloe Conner at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Pray for the families who will attend and the volunteers serving to share God’s love.
Please email email@example.com if you have any questions. Thank you for your donations!
