Highlights from the ASP 40th Anniversary Celebration
On Sunday, June 9, 2019, FUMC celebrated 40 years of serving with the Appalachia Service Project. It was a joyous day filled with memories of this trip’s legacy and its impact on our church. Below are highlights captured from the day.
ASP alums from across the years shared the impact these trips have had on them personally and on the life of this church. Worship was a spirit-filled celebration of those who began this ministry, those who have passed the hammer, and those who hold the future of this ministry at FUMC.
The ASP 40th Anniversary Celebration slideshow captures the fellowship, hard work, and awe experienced on ASP trips throughout the last 40 years.
