Beginning on August 12, accessibility to the Sanctuary for the mobility impaired will include a path through the North Entrance of the church. The South Entrance will be closed during the Sanctuary Elevator construction expected to last up to five weeks. The north stairwell to the Sanctuary will be reserved for the mobility impaired only. All able-bodied persons should access the Sanctuary from the front steps.
Accessibility Through North Entrance
- Mobility-impaired persons should enter the church through the North Entrance from the parking lot and take the elevator to the 3rd floor of the Education Building.
- Once on the 3rd floor, proceed past Murchison Chapel and the Church Office to the Lavaca 3 Entrance and take the newly installed ramps to reach the Lavaca 5 Entrance.
- Once inside Lavaca 5 Entrance, an accessibility lift will transport you to the Sanctuary level to attend Worship. Guides will be available to assist during Worship on Sundays.
If you would like to volunteer as an able-bodied guide, helping people find their way to and from the Sanctuary, please sign up here.
If you have any questions or wish to arrange assistance, please contact Pastor Michael at firstname.lastname@example.org or (512) 478-5684 ext. 216.
