FUMP Board Meeting Minutes: March 3rd, 2008

Members Present: Heather Schuelke, Celeste Hubert, Martha Williams, Ellen Muira, Veronica Divine, Cindy Roberts, Renae Alsobrook, Kristin Keener, Andy Greene, Trish Parker, Kathy Carr, Darcy Hamre and Kerry Ugarte

Members Absent: Kathy Carr

Non-Voting Members Absent: Paula Steinberg Non-Voting Members Present: Sandy Pennington

Ellen called the meeting to order at 6:40pm

Old Business

Review of February Minutes

· One change was made to the February Minutes:

o Darcy Hamre was present and not absent

· Trish motioned to pass the minutes, Andy 2^nd the motion

o Motion passed

Director’s Report: Sandy spoke to the following:

· 105 children registered for 2008-09 school year

· 21 of those are new families to the Church

· Summer Registration started today and 21 have signed up so far

· Music Fest was success but the net was a little lower this year

o Raffle just broke even

· In-service Day – we will work out our policies

· Sandy asked for opinions of the newsletter via email and Cindy Roberts suggested putting a few copies by the front office for parents who want hard copies

Finance Report: Kerry had no report

Equipment Report: Renae spoke to the following:

· Playground update: Water feature will be installed soon (this spring)

Volunteers Report: no report

Hospitality Report: Celeste spoke to the following:

· Set for our two picnics this spring

· Child care is set for April 17^th for Staff Appreciation day

Personnel Report: No report

Publicity Report: No report

Chapel Report: Heather spoke to the following

• VBS is August 4-8 with a Beach theme

Special Projects Report: Kristen reported to the following:

• Sally Foster said the cookie dough can sit out for 3 days but we wanted a taste test
