FUMP Board Meeting Minutes: December 9, 2007

Members Present: Heather Schuelke, Celeste Hubert, Ellen Muira, Veronica Divine, Darcy Hamre, Cindy Roberts, Renae Alsobrook, Kristin Keener, Andy Greene, Trish Parker, Kathy Carr and Kerry Ugarte

Members Absent: Martha Williams

Non-Voting Members Absent: Paula Stiernberg Non-Voting Members Present: Sandy Pennington

Ellen called the meeting to order at 6:50pm

Budget Meeting

Sandy spoke to following:

• Summer Session Dates proposed.

1^st session June 16 – 27, 2008

2^nd session June 30 – July 11, 2008

3^rd session July 14 – Aug. 1, 2008

w Celeste motioned to go with the new Summer Session Dates (listed above)

w Kerry 2^nd the motion, motion passed

Kerry spoke to the following:

• Distributed the projected 2008 Budget and reviewed in detail

Finance Committee recommends the following for the 2008 Budget:

• Before School and After School Care (BSC and ASC) be standardized and prorated. Also that tuition be increased to a two-tier system

w Kathy motioned that the BSC/ASC be standardized/prorated and that tuition be increased to a two-tier system

w Andy seconded the motion, motion passed

• Registration Fee be raised to $120 per child for the regular school year. Summer registration fee be raised to $40 per child/session

w Trish motioned the above registration fee increase

w Renae seconded the motion, motion passed

w Kathy motioned the staff bonus and salary increase

w Celeste seconded the motion, motion passed

• Andy motioned to pass the 2008 Budget in its entirety

w Celeste seconded the motion, motion passed

Kerry motioned to adjourn the meeting at 7:45pm

• Veronica seconded the motion. Motion passed and meeting adjourned
