The First Church youth program seeks to reach all areas of our city. Through our worship, programming, trips, retreats, fun nights and Bible studies, we seek to grow in love toward God and toward each other by cultivating a community of faith and friendship that welcomes all youth, nurtures the spiritual life of everyone involved and serves God’s world. We know and understand that it is very possible to have a blast while striving to be all that God calls us to be.
Some special things you will find in our program are: an emphasis on hands-on missions with work weeks in Appalachia and Austin; Sunday evening sessions that combine an emphasis on prayer and the spiritual life with lively programs and fellowship; and highly committed United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF) counselors.

The Revolve Tour has awesome music, straight-talking messages, and a ton of fun combine for an event just for teen girls! So many girls will come and hear about God’s love and his dream for their love that day…. Don’t miss this opportunity to bring your teen girls to this event.
We are looking for volunteer to help at the Austin Revolve Tour on March 31, 2012. Volunteers will be needed to help with merchandise sales and various usher duties. Volunteers will receive two wristbands to bring teenage girls to the event.
Times needed are Saturday March 31 from 9am – 7:30pm, there is a required background check for our volunteers. If you know of anyone interested or could spread the word that would be great.
