Childcare

Child care is an important part of our ministry with families. Child care is available during worship services for infants and children up to age 5. Children from 6 and older attend worship with their parents. For meetings, study groups, baptism counseling and other church business, child care is made available by reservation only.
- Reservations
Reservations are not necessary for Sunday morning worship services or Sunday School, but because we base the number of workers on the number of children who will be in the nursery, it is important to make reservations for other events. To make a reservation, contact Jennifer Stuart (contact information above). If you cannot attend a function for which you have reserved child care, please notify the office as soon as possible.
- Meals
Parents are responsible for providing appropriate meals when children are here at mealtime. A light snack of juice and crackers is available, but we do not provide full meals.
- Health Standards
Health policies for the church are developed from guidelines set by the State of Texas Department of Human Services and the City of Austin Health Department. We ask the cooperation of parents in maintaining excellent health standards.
Should your child have any contagious disease, please notify the church so other parents can be alerted that their children may have been exposed.
In Case of Illness: Parents are asked to keep their child home when the child: gives evidence of a fresh cold has a temperature of 99 degrees or more has sore or discharging eyes has had an upset stomach (vomiting or diarrhea) within the last 24 hours has a rash; until diagnosed by a doctor (chicken pox, measles, etc.). Children who develop symptoms of illness while in care will be sent home. If your children are too ill to play outside, please keep them at home; small children do not understand why they cannot play when everyone else is outside.
- Clothing
Diapers and a change of clothing are requested for all young children. Please label your diaper bag and other possessions. If your child is in the process of toilet training, let the staff know.
- Sign In
When bringing your child to the nursery, please sign in so we can locate you in an emergency.

9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. All childcare rooms are located in the Children's Wing on the 1st Floor of the Education Building.

10:45 a.m. to noon All childcare rooms are located in the Children's Wing on the 1st Floor of the Education Building.
