Sunday, May 21 at 10:00 a.m.
Wesley Hall, Sanctuary Building
Everyone is invited to come hear a presentation by Paul Parsons, a fellow FUMC member and leading immigration attorney. Paul will be speaking on immigration laws as they have been for many years, especially affecting people in Texas. He will relate calls he gets weekly from employers wanting to help workers become citizens and the very complex answers to what they want to do. You will understand much more about “Why don’t they just become citizens?”
Paul has practiced immigration and nationality law in Austin since 1978, has served on the Board of Governors of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and from 1990-2005 was Chairman of the State Bar of Texas Committee on Laws relating to Immigration and Nationality. This informative session is sponsored by the Downtowners Class, and we hope many will join us!
