Lived 1909-1990; FUMC Member 1935-1990 Stan and Audrey Lambert moved to Austin in the summer of 1935 and became members of First Methodist  Episcopal Church South (predecessor of our current FUMC) at that time. They became charter members of    the Couples Class. Audrey attended that class until she became the regular teacher of the Susanna Wesley class, and Stan remained active in the class until his health prevented his attendance. --Mark Hamre, Administrative Board Chair Last Sunday after worship, the FUMC Administrative Board adopted a fully funded ministry plan for 2011. This ministry plan anticipates receiving $1,742,000-- enough to cover all anticipated expenses, including the current staff configuration of two experienced pastors, as well as the anticipated replacement in June of a permanent Director of Children’s Ministries and an associate pastor’s position.
