Welcome to First United Methodist Church of Austin.
We are glad that you have come our way, and we pray that you will be blessed by your time with us. This large and diverse congregation offers a variety of ways that you and yours can become engaged by God through worship, study, and mission.
Our life centers around five worship services on Sundays and one service on Wednesdays. We have an extensive education program with weekly learning experiences for all ages. And mission opportunities abound–both short and long term–because service is an important part of our life together. There are also numerous opportunities to serve in the congregation: teaching, participating in our music program, assisting with worship services, visiting hospital or homebound members, volunteering in the office, and many more.
Our Mission: We are called to make the best use of every resource entrusted to us by God, in order to bring as many people as possible into a lasting, life-changing relationship with God through Christ Jesus.
