The Marketing/Communications (MarComm) committee is thrilled to announce the launch of a new church logo unveiled on our new website.
Over the past few months, we collected feedback on how you perceived our brand, what attracted you to FUMC and how our church is unique. This feedback was invaluable as we worked with an external graphic designer to develop a new look and feel for our church materials. The objective is to create a new brand that is attractive, modern, meaningful, and consistent.
The logo is intended to represent the traditional, yet progressive Christianity we practice, our congregation’s openness to all people, and its prominent location downtown.
The new website was carefully designed to balance the needs of both new visitors and members. It is user-friendly, mobile-ready, and search engine optimized. In the near future, more technology enhancements are planned, including online registrations and calendar improvements. Many thanks to church member and Webmaster, Mary Heckmann, for developing the site.
As you may have noticed, the weekly eblast (email) has evolved over the last few months and reflects our new color palette and logo. These guidelines are designed to give staff the tools and support they need to communicate all the wonderful programs we host here at FUMC. Coming soon, you will see a new weekly news bulletin.
